Mid Sea Adventure!!!!

Buddies,
I posted an article in my Company's magazine 4 months before about our Mid Sea Adventure, many of them thrilled just by reading the article, felt that they are exhilarated and complimented me. But only few believed, many met me in person and asked in detail.
Let me paste that article for you...
But before that, lets have a quick insight of these images...

1. Lux gives a pose after having a short ride.
2. Gary, Myself, Dhadi and Cheenu in action.

3. Cheenu waves his hand after having a successful plunge, Gary moves his hands too, thats why a huge splash of water, dont think its a blue whale, its only our white whale.
4. Dhadi loses the grip and struggles to hold the rope back, in due course, he swallows plenty of sea water.

5.Finally, Dhadi holds tightly the rope, me and Gary poses for the camera, clicked by Lux.
6. Here, am waving my hands to show that am not scared of these adventures... (but i was firmly holding my other hand to the rope under the water)
7. Moments before getting into action

“It was a fine evening in Kovalam – a place near to seashore, 45 kms away from Chennai. I had been to that place with my friends. As we reached the spot where a Catamaran was fixed and the motor was ready in the shore, it’s a ride in which very few people get the opportunity to experience, called Mid Sea Adventure.

The cost of the ride is also high as it involves risk and so water jacket was given to us, we were asked to push the Catamaran into the sea after we jumped into the Catamaran as it roared into the rough sea. At times, the Catamaran almost went vertical while moving against the waves.

Almost after 45 mins of thrilling ride, we finally reached 5 kms from the seashore, we couldn’t find the shore as wherever we could see, it was water & water only, dangerously moving up and down. The fishermen informed us the depth is around 300 feet. I had Goosebumps all over the body as he asked us to jump into the sea with a rope in the hand, tied one end to the Catamaran, as holding the rope is crucial, if we tend to leave the rope then you will be lost in the sea. We panicked, the interest level dropped down drastically after looking into the rough sea, I remembered the climax scene of Titanic.

But it was challenging for me as I always love adventurous sport, did Parasailing, Bungee Jump. So, I was the first to jump into the sea with a rope holding tight, within seconds I drowned but eventually came up, Oh God! The experience was breathtaking as I was not at all in control. I was again pushed inside the sea by the rough movement of the waves. I could hear in distant the fishermen shouting not to leave the rope and my friends screaming to come back to the boat. After 5 mins, I was in control. I enjoyed the situation, then I encouraged my friends to jump into the sea, then 2 of my friends jumped, stabilized after sometime, we were in the middle of the sea for 45 mins – sometimes shivering to feel the cold touch as if some sea animal was there to engulf us or sometime having the feeling that what more should we ask from life other than having so much of fun & frolic as well as adventure but finally we returned back to the shore. Wish I get such chances in my life to rejuvenate me at regular intervals.

The memories are still pleasant in my heart. I can never forget this Mid Sea Adventure in my Life”.

(P.S.: To make the article interesting, i have added some spices in it like its very expensive ride, 45 mins of ride, 5 kms from the shore, 300 feet depth, all these figures may be true, but i was not knowing the figures exactly)
